Peace and Conflict Curriculum Development Guide for Undergraduate Colleges and Universities

USIP logo  The United States Institute for Peace has just released (Jan 2007) a new guidebook, available online, to support the development of curriculum at undergraduate institutions. The guide, entitled Building Global Peace, Conflict, and Security Curricula at Undergraduate Institutions: A Curriculum Development Guide for Colleges and Universities can be found via the USIP Education homepage or directly via this link to the pdf.

The 27-page guide is described on the USIP site as follows:

“In response to increasing requests by colleges and universities on how to develop programs focusing on global peace, conflict, and security, the Education program has developed this guide to undergraduate programmatic development. It includes not only models , but also advice on strategies that can be used in the planning stage.”
