CPR Compendium of Operational Tools for Peacebuilding

The Conflict Prevention and Post-Conflict Reconstruction (CPR) Peacebuilding Network (established in 1997) sponsored a working group focused on consolidating the analytical frameworks and operational tools developed by CPR donors for responding to conflict situations. The CPR Network makes these available online in their Compendium of Operational Tools for Peacebuilding. At present the Tools Compendium stores about 113 documents, dating from 1998 to today.

The materials are categorized into the following groupings:

Conflict Prevention: Overview
Conflict Prevention: Risk Ass.
Donor Roles
Gender & Conflict
Governance & Democrat.
Hum. Ass. & Dev. Coop.
Measuring Results
Natural Res. & Conflict
PostConflict Stab. & Reconstr.
Security: Disarmament
Security: Policing
Security: Reform
Security: Small Arms

Also available is a Resource Library of 87 items searchable by Region/Country, Type of Document, and Themes Addressed. While there is only one item of the Training Materials type in the current collection, it is quite informative in terms of conflict theories and their application. It is entitled CAPACITY FOR CONFLICT ANALYSIS AND EARLY RESPONSE: A Training Manual (1128Kb Word Document). Certainly worth a look.
