Workplace Mediation Video (with Transcript) from ACAS

workplace mediation The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) serving England, Scotland and Wales has developed a nicely done video introducing workplace mediation. The full version of the 24-minute film gives an idea of what mediation can look and feel like.  While they acknowledge that every mediation is different, this film is based on a real-life case using one of Acas’ own mediators and with professional actors in the other roles. The video is available in windows media and real player formats, optimized for either dial-up or broadband connections. You can also watch the mediation movie as 12 individual clips or see parts of it interwoven with the mediation FAQs. The full script of the film is available as a word document, and is presented alongside the clips as you watch them. A nice resource.
