Basic Mediation Training
Trainers' Guide

New from mediation@MIT
Carol Orme-Johnson and Mark Cason-Snow of mediation@MIT have made available
their full campus mediator training Trainers' Manual, complete with overheads
and handouts. According to the developers,
"this Manual is intended to
serve as a guide for the trainer(s) leading a Basic Training in Mediation
for participants with no prior mediation experience. It reflects the style
of mediation
and the style of teaching we use at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT). This version contains the changes and improvements we have made in
training over 250 faculty, staff, graduate students and undergraduates over
the years. " (from
the Introduction)
The full Trainers' Manual and accompanying handouts and overhead transparency
masters are available for download from
the Campus-adr.org site by people who agree with the terms of use found
on the download page. A clip
from the MIT video that is used in conjunction
with the training is also available online for review.
Thanks mediation@MIT!
