program for diffusing ethnic tension

Hi. I work for a campus mediation center at a college with a large number of students from Israel and various Arab countries. We are looking into ways of trying to proactiveyly diffuse tensions between these student groups instead of waiting until an incident happens and then intervening. Is any one else working on something like this, or know of a similar program?
