do you pay your student mediators?

Hi. We currently use volunteers for our student mediation center but are thinking of starting to pay them an honoriam for each case they mediate. Does anyone else do this? If so, how much do you pay? Do you pay by the hour, the case, or a combination of each?

- Wow, I would love to receive $40 per case as a student mediator! Even $20 would be nice. I funding permits, go ahead and treat the mediators like royalty!

- We pay our student mediators $40 a case plus $20 for prep time.
