It would be easier to develop a reply that might contain more specific suggestions if we know whether the "fight" took place in the workplace, and indeed what (if any) specific workplace behaviors were causing co-workers to be "tense".
Without knowing this, I'd suggest that it's probably a good time to have the supervisor address issues of behavioral expectation (civility, respect, etc.) in the workplace, to affirm that we don't all have to like each other but do have to work with each other, and to outline expectations for employees to confront and/or report observed violations of the behavioral expectations above. If I were the supervisor, I'd also reiterate my invitation to everyone to talk to me privately about any workplace issues they feel are impacting their ability to do their job.
