Counseling
Cut-Off
Quinn
(student)
You
have oversome a traumatic childhood and are now able
to attend college. You have had unexpected family and
health problems recently that have drained your financial
and emotional resources. You need financial assistance
and realize that you are not going to get the help you
need. On top of the money worries, Dana, a counselor
at the university Counseling Center, has told you that
s/he will not see you as often as you would like to
have counseling sessions (two to three times a week).
Dana said not to call the Center in emergencies anymore.
You complained to a key administrator, who suggested
mediation.
