US Special Report:
Youth Activism and Global Engagement
The
Benton Foundation,
an organization that seeks to bridge philanthropy,
public policy and community action, published a
OneWorld
Special Report: Youth Activism and Global Engagement
in February 2001. OneWorld
is a community of over 1250
international organizations working for social justice.
This particular OneWorld Special Report focuses
on the strengths and weaknesses of youth
movements and activism on college campuses. It is
a ten part series that represents excerpts from
a longer reports by Paul G. Aaron. The purpose of
the report is to identify areas in which youth activists
and adults working on global issues can collaborate.
